Read that yesterday...so sorry for the loss of your friends.

      thinking out loud <hard on a computer..>
wonder how hard it be for goodyear to make a treaded tire with an inner liner...
or for that matter.. do they already..
I know they make treadless ones.. I have a few

Sorry to hear, but as Neil Young once said.

I say, better to die trying, than on the couch with a Bag of chips in your hand and a 1/2 drank beer on the table.

maybe the 200mph class needs the nascar roll cage..
tons of pre c.o.t. cars to pick from..
what class would a car like that run..??
          say a 2010 nationwide car
Unlimited class....like the 69 Camaro BIG RED runs.

Having been at Maxton for 2 fatalities all I can say is you have no idea of how this hurts - especially for those involved and who love the sport. This is absolutely as bad as anything can get. Just a couple of guys having fun following their dream.

There was a time when I thought the safety rules at Maxton were overly strict. Not any more. Our losses were both on bikes and they had the required safety gear but still - there's no telling how many minor crashes would have been major crashes without the required equipment.

My heart goes out to the families and friends of these men.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all the duo's family and friends. It is a tough thing to go through. I agree with what Dan said in his post.
