  • The '64 Riviera T-type is moving!!!

Here's the single post with videos:

The summary post I made on the Riviera Owners Association board:

    The whole thing on here:

Enjoy and feel free to ask any question except for "why did you put a V6 in there", tired of answering it and I'll just ignore it.

Sweet man, been following your build for a long time now, glad to see that you stayed with it long enough to get it going. I totally dig it. Keep up the good work!

                    is it a 3.8 or a 4.2

                      Smart Ass....

The reason for the turbo over the SC'd V6 is the parts availablity at the time I started working on the engine. There was no forged crank for the 3800 at the time and I was originally going to run the LC2's EFI system but decided to switch to the OBDII system because I didn't want to be a slave to the chip burners. Megasquirt wasn't primetime either and while I do consider the MS3X as a backup I'm going to be trying to get this to work as best I can with the stock computer.

The engine is a 4.1L Buick V6 out of an 84 Electra with an '86 Grand National top end. Difference between it and the 3.8 is the bore, I have a 3.995in bore at 0.030 over vs the 3.8's 3.830in at 0.030 over.
