I can watch any type of hit, concussion, guys getting freight-trained by corn-fed riot cops, but I CANNOT watch football arm/leg injuries.

Heebie-Jeebies... bleeeaaccchh.... (that's the noise my gut makes when the mac & cheese is coming back up)
Yes, I'm a CarJunkie... How many times would YOU rebuild the same engine before getting a crate motor?

The First Amendment gives you the right to speak freely. It has nothing to do with the consequences following anything you say. Hank Williams Jr wasn't thrown in jail or legally penalized for what he said. His employer didn't like it, so they reacted.

I think NFL teams (and college for that matter) need to pay me to NOT watch. Seems with every game I have turned on lately, the team I wanted to win was winning and then cratered and lost. I'll happily take $10k a game to not watch.

How does that stifle free speech? He can go back on TV tomorrow and say the same thing.

What does one way street mean? Free speech is the ability to speak freely, not absolution from consequences/reactions from saying stuff in public.

you answered your own question,, when you have to fear what you say, it becomes stifled..
I'm sure you'll disagree, and thats your choice..
