My wife picked it up on DVD for 5 bucks like a year ago. I like it. Pete's coupe is one of my all time, all timers.
Not the best movie ever but shit I can watch that car running around those roads anytime.

I enjoyed it because it was a cool car and I like Martin Sheen, but like alot of 70's movies it was a bit corny. The movie Cannonball with David Carradine I loved as a kid...

I liked that David's brother Robert was the surfer in the Corvette. Better known as Lewis from the Revenge of the Nerds movies.

i like it except the music and the side pipes on " the kid " DONT REMIMBER SEEING PIPES UNDER RUNNING BOARDS on little coups and roadsters in the fiftys.

Those were fakes along with some of the flames that were added for the movie but were not in the original build of the car by Pete.............
