        My wife picked it up on DVD for 5 bucks like a year ago. I like it. Pete's coupe is one of my all time, all timers.
        Not the best movie ever but shit I can watch that car running around those roads anytime.

              I can't remember I've seen it.

              No wait, let me put it differently... I know I've never seen this movie...
              I have seen the chase clip on da 'tube some years back though.

                i like it except the music and the side pipes on " the kid " DONT REMIMBER SEEING PIPES UNDER RUNNING BOARDS on little coups and roadsters in the fiftys.

                  Those were fakes along with some of the flames that were added for the movie but were not in the original build of the car by Pete.............
                  That steely eyed look I had behind the wheel was me trying see..........

                    TV movie that was also a political statement about the small towns surrounding LA that had notorious speed traps where the cops got paid commissions on the tickets they wrote.
