My cousin "Jerry the Doctor" from Ohio, bought a new 78 vette and stored it away forever. I will check to see if it is his. I know he didn't sell his because he needed money. Probably sold it cause it never gained the value he thought it would. Never gained any real value because of the reasons y'all stated here. Wonder what Mike paid for it?

In 78 there weren't many choices for car collectors, sorry Jerry. In 78 I would have given my left nut for one . . . as my high school graduation present . . . as it was my neighbor gave me a well worn 68 Torino.

I would rather have cousin Delma's orig 31 Ford 5 window coupe . . . and it is for sale too !!!

Putting the vette in a new "dim" light DTB

p.s. see Bruce, it do have some Ford in my family auto history.

Can you imagine the much cooler cars you c ould buy for the $50,000 they say the Vette is worth? I'd rather spend $50k on many others than have a 13 mile '78 Vette!
