Watching the evening local news out of Chattanooga. They did a network piece about a guy who was driving on I-85 in his 2008 Honda Accord and his driver's side air curtain went off - POW. No wreck, just POW.
Traffic was light, he just pulled over and gathered his wits. And he's faced with a $5K bill to fix it back. And Honda won't pay.
If it's true. Told for the truth, pretty convincing. I don't trust the media farther than I can throw a dump truck, but if that happened, and "they" (the media) said this has happenned much more than once from their own research....
Our new car has side air curtains. I wonder if they're generic, or if each manufacturer has their own supplier of side curtains? Or whether to believe it or not....
