how far can you angle mill heads

To me what you are looking at is a sucker's game. Big angle milling, like to the limits as you are discussing, I think is only reasonable in a class where you are working around rules limitations. It really throws everything off and costs too much in time. Why is he even considering it? I would recommend pistons or flat milling every time, unless circumstances make angle milling the only choice.

Have him go to <inliners.com> (I think I have the address right). Someone there will have already screwed up a couple of heads to find out the best way. There isn't much these guys haven't done with an inline.

A flat mill seems to work best on a Chevy like mine but I have no clue on a Ford.
