but the $64,000 question is - 1 is he going to be working for Gibbs next year and 2 is M&M going to go elsewhere

if Gibbs shitcans him where can he go ? Hendriks fired him already, Childress- yea right, StewartHass - HA, Roush ? hmmmm Penske ? his brother races there

I have a feeling he might be in a dodge next year

Yeah a day or two late, but I did sure read what I wrote. What did I do wrong? Whatever it was, I can't quite see it.

And so most of us have thrown Kyle under the bus and into the river. As deserved. What's left?

There is no more self regulation anymore in most motorsports, driven (in my opinion) by the need to be "media friendly" and sanitized spokespeople for sponsors. (Back in the day you could have a womanizing drunk like Mickey Mantle selling Maypo because the only people who knew he was a womanizing drunk were his teammates).

At some point this should start to reflect on Joe Gibbs and his judge of character.

Joe puts himself out there as someone who tries to live a by a set of Christian principles and yet continues to coddle and excuse someone like Busch because of his talent and his results on the racetrack. A little inconsistent IMHO.

Looks like Busch got fined $50k and put on probation for the rest of the season. Include that Nascar parked his butt for the Texas race and put him completely out of the championship. It will be seen whether a problem child driver can get sponsorship next year as easily as a hottie.

Aric Almirola told ESPN.com on Thursday he has been contacted by Joe Gibbs Racing about possibly replacing Kyle Busch in the final two Sprint Cup races and is awaiting final word from the organization. ESPN's Marty Smith reported on SportsCenter and NASCARNow that Busch, according to sources, will be in the #18 Cup car this weekend at Phoenix and next weekend at Homestead. Multiple sources said the car likely will be sponsored by Interstate Batteries instead of M&Ms, which was scheduled to be on the car. Mars Incorporated, which manufacturers M&Ms, stated its displeasure with Busch over his intentionally wrecking Ron Hornaday in last Friday's Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. But according to sources the sponsor still had reservations about having its name on the Cup car with Busch for the last two races, prompting the call to Almirola. Almirola said JGR president J.D. Gibbs contacted him on Wednesday to see if he would be available. Almirola, who drives a Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in the Nationwide Series, said JRM has given him permission to drive for the Toyota team. "Your guess is as good as mine,'' Almirola told ESPN.com before Nationwide practice at PIR as to what will happen. "I know they're working through a lot of things. I just told them I was available if they needed me.''

For good reason because it reaches a far bigger audience than nascar can even dream of attaining. Show some proof of more $ spent on a 30 sec. ad VS. a years worth please.

He's driving the car for the last 2 races, but M&M's will NOT be on the car....

wonder if his butt will sit in a car owned by Gibbs next season. This is the kind of thing that gets a team owner's attention. I'm sad to say, I'd have to let him go. Total waste... the clown gets attention for the sport, but not the kind any sponsor wants.
