i like SOME 4 door cars, heres the catch - it CANNOT have a b-pillar, so when the windows are down it looks like one big window example like the pic eagle posted. i still want to get another 68-71 olds 98 foor door, I missed that car with its power everything and 455

          four doors kick ass.

          I had a 1974. loved it..

I thought you may have found my favorite.. but I guess that is 1968-69.

the 67 is still big hollow trunk.

I still have only found one 68 on the web for sale.

          a bunch of photos

I think they are cool. I dig the g-man look on them. Dog dishes, black walls, base models in subdued colors. Unlike the rest of you, I prefer the post cars. Looks more under cover to me. I would love to have a '70's fury just like the one Fred Dryer drove in the '80's TV series "Hunter".

I'd build one to cruise in/DD...not necessarily a racer of any stripe.

2-doors are still preferable.....but I can't shake the idea of a late 70's/early 1980's Malibu "quadraport"......LS power with either SC/turbo assistance....upgrade the suspension/steering to match...but leave the external appearance grandma-fresh. might have to mini-tub the rear, allow for slightly wider tires...but steelies with the poverty caps.

Terrorrize some smarmy punks in much more visually pleasing rides...heh heh heh

*DAMN, Arild.....never thought the backside of a mid-70's Chevelle could look anything other than ugly. BIG difference without the factory guard-rail bumper*

I like em without the post. I think the undercover cop car look is cool on them too (not flashy, right stance) and they have to be suprisingly fast too. Andy would you be interested in another Cougar I think a 70, convertible. A guy I know has it at his shop and I was going to see what was up with it. Its on Rt 22 about and hour and a 1/2 from LVD.

Is it a hardtop or post car? The 67 Chevelle 4 door hardtop would be my first choice. (The answer to your question is yes.) I have actually been casually looking for one. For a daily driver-type classic that is different but still cool. EFI LS V8, modern trans, AC, boomin stereo, bucket seats, 17" wheels, no worries about originality...

                      Here's a decent example:

This one if for sale locally near me, but is not a hardtop. The post makes it harder to keep the cool factor (in a four door.)

Come to think of it, Brian should check this one out. Need to get his price down to something realistic.
1967 Chevelle 300 2 Door Post. No factory options. 250 ci inline six with lump-ported head, big valves, Offy intake and 500cfm Edelbrock carb.

I think 4 doors can be built cool, but you have to go other ways than with a 2 door..the sleeper look works..the FBI CIA look works...4 door bodys wont look good in flashy colours, but dark brown blue red silver black etc..

This Chevelle 71 4 door have been built here in Norway..it has a 496 and a 400 trans..

You guys have shown some great examples. I think they can be done very nicely, and when you're hauling all your buddies around, and they aren't small, those extra 2 doors are gold.
                          I'm still learning
