Something just seems more "international" about 4 doors since overseas the whole "2 door that's as big as a 4 door for no reason" thing didn't catch on... but then neither did 2wd SUVs.
I like the fact that a four door is an "open canvas." Since all the purists aren't going to like the car to begin with, you aren't constrained by anything. Build the engine you want, throw the wheels and suspension you want on it and go. It's like a huge rolling middle finger to the Barret Jackson types.
Plus, more doors are almost as "metal" as vans. \m/\m/
It really depends on the model. C-body Mopars, some B-body GM, the Fox LTD...Now, if they never offered a coupe it's alright.
I don't mind them personally. Nobody confused this for a stock 5th Avenue.

I think it all comes down to what you have, what you need, and what you want it to do, nothing is out of the question for guys like us. Just when you think you've seen it all - someone comes up with a nun - runner, or a cts - spider!
