I could not disagree more. There is nothing wrong with being fiscally responsible, and unless you have more money than you know what to do with building on a budget is the best way to do it. Finding an old car that has been well taken car of that you can pay cash for and can drive home and personalise on a budget will get you much farther ahead financially than having a $400 a month honda payment. You might even make a few bucks on the old car, a new one you might be lucky to get pay off when its time to sell.

No Im not dumb enough to buy a car that cost too much to fix up, like buying a 67 Chevelle SS for $28000 then decide it needs the engine rebuilt and a paint job.
But also I have no budget when I buy a car, I just start spending until its done or I sell it for a profit, always have and always will.
