    REALLY!? Kurt Busch? REALLY!?

During Sunday's Ford 400 at Homestead, analyst Jerry Punch tried to interview Kurt Busch after the driver was forced out of the race with transmission problems. What resulted was a profanity-laced tirade by Busch who didn't want to wait until the ESPN control booth threw it to Punch. In the end, Punch decided he had enough and walked away from Busch telling his producers, "never mind, never mind."(USA Today)(11-22-2011)

He's not a dick, he is a WHOLE BAG OF DICKS!! how can you talk to Jerry Punch like that? REALLY!?

It is funny someone caught it on camera, but that crap must happen all the time.

I used to have pissed off drag racers MF'ing everything in sight before we went live on top end interviews. Once the switch gets flipped, everyone gets nicey nice.

Think Tony Stewart hasn't lit up a reporter waiting on a live shot? In the heat of battle I bet most of 'em have.

Dr. Jerry came off like the pro that he is though.

Gyah! That's utterly amazing. Everybody knows Kyle's a rabid animal, but Kurt? WOW, that is really an eye-opener there.

Meh, I'm glad he's upset. I'm sure he would have rather been on the track.

A frustrating end to a frustrating season. Then, make the guy stand around forever for him to say that politely. I'd been pissed too.

He can be mad all he wants, yeah shit happens, But at the begining of the video he says " would someone get this M'Fer outta my face" I don't know if that was directed at Jerry Punch on not, either way, what a jackass. There have been countless instances where a driver just got wrecked and ESPN, Fox, TBS etc. wants an interview, and the driver goes in his trailer calms down and does an interview, Kurt didn't have to do the interview, so why stand there and stomp your feet like a 16 yo girl? go wash the sand outta your lil jay jay, and do an interview like a big girl, dickhead!

But think about it. ... well, no way I possibly can...think about making millions of dollars a year to drive a hotrod for sponsors...and you're standing in front of Jerry Punch waiting for an interview to be in front of the collective nation....that's just....no I can't complete the thought. I'll never know how to complete that thought. Of all people, Jerry Punch. Good job Dr. Punch for just walking away from it.

He was telling the camera guy to back up...not Punch. He refers to him as Dr. at one point. The camera guy was less educated so he got MF'd.

to work that wound up, adreneline job.. I sure as heck could not stay nice.

I only got a small taste of that double world working on airplanes, and say asked to work at an air show. that fake bridge to people is a huge one for old military planes.

                      "nicey nice"
                      hahaha.

racers have big money, alot easier.. I guess he could have stayed nicer.
I am sure their crew and all keeps that temper down.

x3.. maybe punch and crew should let them cool off, before getting in their face.. must be nice that "the frog" never has a bad day..
the driver shouldn't have to go to his trailor to get the camera out of their face..

Yes they are human and I can give most folks a break. But he is paid lots of money to be a good rep for his sponsers. I think they call 'em - paid proffesionals. and Dr. Punch seems to get that concept, but once again a bush boy shows his lack of proffesionalism. He knows that camera's take pictures - i think - so to act like that is just plain.... well..... whatever ya call it. But I would want a better performance from him, If I was his Boss! just sayin.

I spent a whole lot of weekends at the dirt track in Lancaster SC when a close friend of mine was running a car in the Mini-Stock class. Volkswagens.

It was a given that there would be a fist fight during/after the race until they finally raised the fine for fighting from $50 to $500. Yep, that calmed things down. At one time there was a big claim that there wasn't a woman at the track who could whip Roger's ass without a fire extinguisher in her hand...well, that's a much longer story.

Guys who spent grocery money on a race car to run for a hundred dollar purse. And they spent all week every waking hour working on the race car, divorces included because of it.

So, just from that, I have no sympathy for the young guys who run in the Big Leagues. No sympathy whatsoever, none. Whatever they do. I don't think they really have a clue. Just money. Nothing but money and selfishness. Thtt's all they have.
