  • I can't stop staring at this truck

I copied this picture off an ebay sale a week or two ago. I have it on my computer as the back ground at work and can't stop staring at it in aww. I just seems like the perfect truck to me.

It's wild....but it looks kind of dorky sitting on the ground, would probably look better with some springs in it, eh?

I think it is the Red and white that really speaks here, although I would lose the pinstriping on the hood, and make the front and back the same height off the ground...

The auction did say it was sectioned, I think what is getting me is the rear fenders. Unless i'm missing something on these trucks it looks like they were lengthened to cover the length of the bed?

maybe, looks like long bed fenders on a shortened short bed, nice truck.. needs the bed top to line up with the cab body line at the side window.. it may and it's just the pic angle

I was able to go back and find the completed auction, which has some more pics of it.

im sure squirrel can offer more insight on the bed sides, but i wanna say those are something like 1 year only cameo pieces

the only thing id change on it is the wheels, id have to get something with a decent sized lip on them and maybe put blackwall tires on it too

No, the cameo doesn't look like a stepside, it looks more like a fleetside, although it's built on a stepside box. These fenders have been heavily massaged, the bed is shortened, the truck is sectioned and chopped. Lotsa work went into it!

Cameos were made from late 55-early 58

the top of the bed is susposed to be under the window here is my buddy Karls I do like the longer fenders on it removing the step in the bed
