Learn Me Remote Starts

Ok my friend wants me to put a remote start in his Buick Rendezvous. How hard is it to install and what is the best system to go with?

If it goes well, i might put it im my dd lesebre.

It's pretty easy as long as you have a wiring diagram? code? or something that tells you what each color wire under the dash runs. Just make sure the splices are good. I did a poor job soldiering one and it would work fine until it got below 20 degrees, when you actually wanted to use it. I've used cheap ones, on sale from autozone or something. One of them was called hornet I think. The more expensive ones can unlock your doors and pop your trunk too. I'd imagine they'd be a little more work.

you have pass lock on that bad boy , you must put a resistor in the line that matches the pass lock resistance
