But yeah, I did slot cars. They'd go a whole lot faster than what I was driving at the time, I guess that was the draw.

Awesome Groucho!!!!! Slots are alot of fun at garage hang-out nights, especially when Jack Daniels and Jim Beam are driving. Here are a few of the 100+ HO cars I have and the portable track I built on a house interior door and is powered by 12V booster pack. Fun at car shows and beer nights.

FYI to any BANGshifters that find old HO scale slot cars and want to test them, clean them off, hit thm with some WD40 and power them with a 9v battery to test. A 9v in your pocket will walking the swap meet isn't a bad idea either, incase you spot a slot car for sale, may save you from paying more than its worth if it doesn't run.

I think I had a twin engine car once.......we spent hours
at a local hobby shop racing.

When Winter would hit a several of us would hit the race tracks at the Hobby Shop. Was your's a 4WD Green & Yellow Lotus? I might still have mine around here somewhere?
