AMC guy here. We had a few AMC's in our family...

76 Hornet 258 4 spd posi
73 Gremlin 232 3 spd manual
80 Concord DL 258 auto
83 Concord Limited 258 auto, had every option
And my 1st car, 1980 AMC Eagle station wagon.
I'll scan a pic of it, great 1st car, it was a real gem ;D
That Eagle's responsible for my Jeep lust. Nothing runs like an AMC 6cyl.
I'd love to do a 4.0L Hornet or Gremlin someday. Maybe even turbo it hehehe!
