muffler cone inserts?

anyone ever use these? my car is just alittle too loud..all that will fit my car is the bullet race mufflers..was hoping they would tone it down..

I have them in my truck and they do very little. The problem seems to be the length of the time the exhaust is in the pipes.

I ran thoses auger inserts (speedway motors $13) ON MY 31 THEY WERE IN 3 1/2 INCH PIPE AND HELPED A LOT. Before that I ran weed burner headers with 6 inch motorcycle baffles in them and it worked Chuck Finders was amazed how good it sounded like that and was on ethe street all the time. It was still load but it took the edge off. We will see with the new set up were I end up
