I wonder if Buick will have a heritage inspired car ? Hopefully inspired by a 69 Riviera. I dont think its gonna happen.

I kinda like it. The nose is kinda ugly and the rear deck is too short. An Ecotec turbo would be cool if it doesn't weigh too much. I can't see the heritage either.

Buick will never get a heritage car for two reasons. (1) - GM is bringing the brand to a more youthful customer who have no clue about the history of the brand and want fresh, cool cars. (2) - China. Buick lived over Pontiac, Saturn, Olds, and Hummer because it is GM's anchor brand in China and they aren't going to build a car they can only sell in one market (here).
That which you manifest is before you.

bleh. i see the camaro in the dash cluster and a couple other attempts at what i think might maybe be styling cues from other chevys...but it really looks plain and has too much of the newer styling for a "heritage" car. i dunno. its just bleh. i want fins.

the hype sheet from this one says

130R features a rear-wheel drive layout with a turbocharged 1.4L Ecotec engine sitting up front providing 140 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque

so on that level, Thank You GM. If you can get it down to about 1800 pounds, it should be entertaining. I hope it makes it and I hope it's easy to work on cuz we all know what happens with kids and boost controllers and stock fuel delivery.
