  • Secret Nissan musuem... don't yawn too much, there's some cool stuff there

    Lots of pictures here:

I'll link a couple of the more BangShifty things from the thread:

I've thought a lot of their '60s era and '70s era cars looked like baby Mopars.

Looks like these were for a Dakar Rally like event.

    That is very cool!

While not surprised, I am disappointed that I'd have to fly to Japan to check out all of those cars in person.

I'd love to have a chance to check out an auto manufacturer's "museum" sometime, although I have a feeling that would require a roadtrip to Michigan.

Anyone know of anything similar to this in the New England area?
    I take photos.

      not much in maine.
coles trucking..they have a helicopter out front for some reason.
a place by the coast, brian blogged..strange machines.

there is another one that stays quiet. I never remember the name.
some cars go there just for surviving maine. I did have a thought to send my 80s subaru there after I did what I did to stay alive. the contrast of beginning to end is not a fail sometimes. the story of all unique autos..

the nissan story hardly permeates maine. they did attempt an american scale of some things a long time ago. The titan stuff is for dweebs...leave the macks bname alone. I remember a rare nissan diesel in a lobster boat (my uncle owned it)..not much else. the 280 and all those are kown for the rear diff that fits my old subaru..and that is about it.

cool stuff anyway, I'd wander around there and like it.

Nice pics but... no IMSA GTP cars from the early 90s?? Nissan's best cars were the twin turbo IMSA cars...

        edit: close enough!!

The one on the right is wearing the logos from the company I worked for before I worked for DIYAutoTune.com. Never knew they sponsored race cars when I worked there, and they probably didn't sponsor any in the US.
