Not sure on the back story with this car, but if it is coming from El Paso I am guessing Todd over at MSD has some involvement!

Is there some history to this car? I'm trying to figure out why this is interesting?

No, the 2bbl would have to go. This would be a good candidate to play with EFI though...

they must dump more than the primaries of the four I assume.

I am hacking a 2gc all the way down to 1781cc.
278-352 cfm. (not sure what it is yet, will figure out later)

    Flow Rates

It depends on the size of the venturi. Refer to the info below.
    Venturi size CFM
    1 3/32 278
    1 3/16 352
    1 1/4 381
    1 5/16 423
    1 3/8 435
Keep in mind, 2 bbls and 1 bbls are rated at a 3.0 in/HG pressure drop an 4 bbls are rated at a 1.5 in/Hg pressure drop.

If it was a two door, I'd be all over it. I still have pains for the one that got away the summer before my senior year of HS.

We had a 69 with the two barrel . Gennerally pulled 18 on the highway . Some think this is economical . It just depends on what you tolerance for pain . (in the wallet)

    More Hot Rod Magazine tomfoolery

Seems Hot Rod Magazine wants to sell the 72 Pontiac Catalina....

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...13049870#v4-41

They started a 3 day/no reserve auction about an hour ago. I might bid on this and worry about getting it out here later...
Working...
