My own prejudices aside (WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?!?!), I suggest talking with Brian on this one, as he owns and absolutely loves...Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake." -

WHAT IN THE WIDE, WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS ARE YOU THINKING???
Dude, before you buy it, call your local parts store and get a price on an alternator. Seriously, there are two kinds of Pacifica's... Those that need an alternator now and those that will need one next week.
RonIt's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.Comment

Seriously man, run away. My buddy has one, it has had more weird failures of all kinds than any other car either of us has experienced, and combined we've been through quite a few.
Latest was a front spring just broke in two for no reason. No corosion on the spring, it just broke in the middle. Its his wifes car, and he hates the thing. Cuts into the toy budget way too often, both in time and money!
Oh, and your wife will definitely NOT like walking 1/2 of the time.....Last edited by STINEY; January 23, 2012, 06:51 PM.Of all the paths you take in life - make sure a few of them are dirt.Comment

My friend is an instructor for Chrysler and he had to drive a Pacifica for two months to try to diagnose a weird problem. Even the factory guys couldn't figure it out. He said all pacificas should have been painted yellow because they're F-ing lemons.Just groovin' to my own tune.Comment

Brandon, not exaggerating or joking here. We have one. It is a TITANIC SHIT BOX. Fuel economy sucks, driving, handling, etc....sucks. Interior quality, especially if you have kids....sucks. Our has eaten a fly wheel, I have had to do numerous suspension related repairs, it freaking evaporates brake pads, it weighs 5,000lbs, and has other issues that are virtually incurable. We are going to ditch ours this Spring.
The thing really sucks balls.
