That "psychedelic fish' Cuda's paint is retro-fabulous!

Hess's car is flat nasty, both in performance and with the incredible paint. I believe that the paint was applied by his son at their family body business. The photos are beautiful, but I am sure even BigDad would agree....to see it up close is even better.

Several SS/AH (for those of you wondering what the hell that means it's Super Stock/A Hemi). Those cars have achieved such performance they've basically got their own class.

Several heads up "shootouts" are run across the country during the drag racing season, but the one that is the biggest and best is held on Friday at the US Nationals in Indy.

To see 20 or so of those cars parade up the return road on their way to the staging lanes is VERY cool.

Put it on your bucket list.

The motors in those cars (well actually everything about those cars) are insanely expensive and lots of guys send them back to their builder every 10-15 passes to be gone through.

There is a great amount of taping and spraying talent in that car. Very commendable.

Personally, I'd have to go with the one with flames. Phychedelic ain't my bag, baby.
