SS/AH is cool, Ray Barton's shop is just down the road from my place. Known of my Friends can afford him. Even though I know alot of his employees, Ill keep my opinions to myself.
I dig the Cudas , but I like the SS Darts better.
My favorite SS ride is Kenny Montgomerys 65 plymouth a990 car. factory stick box car, and he has owned and raced it from new, and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

I certainly respect the work and talent that goes into a paint job like that... but it's not my bag, baby!

I saw this car Saturday in Bradenton. I asked the guy if he minded if I took a couple pics, then talked to him a while. His dad bought it new in '68, it's a true SS, he used to drive it to high school... I like what they've done to it, but I hope they kept the original pieces.
There's a 454 where the 396 originally sat, the 4 speed is gone, the 12 bolt has been replaced with a narrowed Dana 60 and ladder bars... geourgous paint job! I completely appreciate the talent it takes to make a black car look this good.

I know a lot of people don't get the Super Stock and Stock Eliminator classes. I'm telling you they are super cool. I've grown up around them and they are amazing performers. Wheels up launches rule, and both of these classes never disappoint. Is anyone interested in information on their combos?
