I couldn't stand living like that, too many choices, I'd go crazy trying to decide which one to hit. We don't have that many events all year here in East Central Illinois! I'm really feeling the need to go West.Originally posted by BOOOGHAR View Post4Downey* - Bob's Big Boy Broiler Drive-In - 7447 Firestone Blvd. - 5PM - 10PM - Flyer

I already looked at Socalcarculture.com. 1/2 those listed are the early morning coffee/cruises I outlined I had no interest in. I was looking for something I may not heard about in the mainstreamOriginally posted by BOOOGHAR View Post4Downey* - Bob's Big Boy Broiler Drive-In - 7447 Firestone Blvd. - 5PM - 10PM - Flyer

I went to the Hilco Fastener show last year. Pretty cool. Not a huge show though. Not bad food too.Originally posted by groucho View PostI already looked at Socalcarculture.com. 1/2 those listed are the early morning coffee/cruises I outlined I had no interest in. Ya know, I think I went too. Had some good ass tacos. I think all the small lots were full, and I ended up parking my 38 across the street in a civilian lotOriginally posted by Scott Liggett View PostI went to the Hilco Fastener show last year. Like all shows, get there early for a good spot. Since Yannick's twin engined ride won't be there (missing an engine) there will be room for one and half of other cars.Originally posted by groucho View PostYa know, I think I went too. We particpated in the high desert car club's superbowl sunday morning cruise from Deadman's Point east of Apple Valley out thru Lucerne Valley up to Barstow to Peggy Sue's 50's diner. About 200 cars of all types/years. Food at Peggy Sue's in Yermo just north of Barstow is top notch. This is an annual event on superbowl sunday morning. The drive starts at 8 am, at peggy sue's by 9 am, done with breakfast by 10 am, check out the cars and head home for the game (if you give a s^*t about the game).Life is too short to drive boring cars!Comment
