  • Fraudulent Check Robs Owner Of Pristine

    '69 Dodge Charger

Anyone else see this from streetlegaltv.com?

I just won't take checks for anything......and even if they have
cash, I'll use one of those special pins to check bills.

A fake bank check robbed a man of this B5 Blue Charger, and now he's is putting out the word - including some pictures of the dirty rat who handed over the bogus check - for all the word to see.

i feel bad for the guy, but it was a pretty stupid move on his part to accept a check and let the guy take the car without cashing it first

There were a couple of cases of people
in the St. Louis area scammed with
      forged cashiers checks.

Last car I sold I had the buyer direct wire
      funds into my bank account.

I'll take cash but on a big amount it has to be a Wire Transfer, one nice thing about a wire is once it's been sent by the buyer's Bank it's yours, even if it hasn't been received yet.
