to me it comes down to the definition of a rat rod... to me a rusty or patina car is not a rat rod... what i call a rat rod is a poorly built shock car,,like bad welds ,ramdom things hanging off or zip screwed to the body.. plastic rats and skulls,a 40s-50s truck cab on a 70s80s car frame without fenders. chain links, wrought iron, tractor parts,if it looks like its hacked together on purpose....
when the whole rat rod thing took off it was field cars that where put back on the road..they got alot of attention.. and it became "lets see how ratty we can build it" ... to me its like 20'' plus wheels ,it to will pass, just hope it sooner than later...Comment
