    Beloved General Lee BANNED By NASCAR

    DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR and track officials canceled plans to have pro golfer Bubba Watson drive the "General Lee," the car from the television series "The Dukes of Hazzard," at Phoenix International Raceway next month because of concerns about a negative reaction to an image of the Confederate flag on its roof.

          I saw a thing about that on TV, .... I think it was the BJ Auction....the REAL General Lee, the one on the opening scene for every episode was totalled making that jump, but somebody straighened it out and restored it, I think....they used and wrecked dozens of cars on that show and there are hundreds of replicas out there today. If not thousands. I saw it on Pawn Stars, so it must be true!
