  • Dragstrip disaster video - Fox body Mustang wheelie landing gone wrong

Found on another forum - this video was shot at South Georgia Motorsports Park. Kevin Neal's Mustang has an awesome takeoff, not such a good landing. There's a ton of cameras on the car, and the video shows the crash from all of them.

Lift, great when youre in an airplane..in a car...well...not so much

Pretty neat set of clips. It was a nice touch adding in the camera spinning on the track as well as one of the track guys hitting the power kill switch and then putting the car back on it's wheels.
          Escaped on a technicality.

Sure, they crash just as good as any other car.

                      Thats too bad it crashed....
Now for my stupid question for the day, how much down force do those bull horns really provide? Could they be tilted a little more?

SBG's dumb question du jour - so you're the other racer, you're first on the scene; do you get out and help, or get out of the way?

I have been in a few positions to help a fellow racer when I was either waiting at the scales or coming down the return road. If nothing else I think it's nice to have someone there to tell them everythings going to be okay. So I would say help.

I would say get out of the way and let the proper pepple do their jobs.

When the proper people get there, yeah, but until then I would help.
