It was 18 years ago Wednesday that I entered basic...I can still recall the sights, sounds, smells and anxiety of that day...I remember much of my time at basic training petty well and look back on it fondly. The technical training he will attend is no joke either, its going to be pretty intense...I am looking forward to hearing from him.

June of 1967...........just graduated two weeks before.....17 yrs old........6 foot tall & bullet proof.
So I thought.

Did he go in the Navy ? Mike and Donna's (rocketman formerly known as redragtop) girl
just started basic this past week at Great Lakes - maybe they are in the same class.
