      • Friday she saw it come home on a logging chain....it made it back under its own power on Sunday, twice....barely the second time as Dave can attest to!

I had friends like that! I moved and their cars couldn't make it here
          Escaped on a technicality.

            • Very nice Brian!
Can't wait to hear what you think! Although...it sounds like the big block swap needs to happen, soon!
When the hell are you making time for all this?

Gonna do a little Krylon make over in the spring?

Good looking car, done 2 Power Tours with this beast before my Challenger. Now that I wrecked my Challenger, she's out of storage.

Watching this thread with lots of interest.

                    • My buddy Jamie in high school had one just like it (his was puke green). The Impala roof line is cool. Man, this is probably the cleanest one in existence!

Sounds a little less exciting than my break down.

Hey Andy, the big block will happen in due time, but before that, I thought the small block should get a least a shot at glory, right? Plus, what would I do with all of this stuff if I ditched it now..... ( )

                          • I don't see a BigShot kit in that pile Brian ..... if you're sending the small block out in high fashion, might as well make it memorable!

                              • just read the blog..
I did not know the caprice came with the lawnmower coil (not being offensive, I love that one over the old pcb oil coils- just saved an old subaru with one not long ago)

I was curious to the tiny sidewall..
no lower than 60 series is the way I grew up with those, on 15 inch..still broke balljoints.

it is a nice stance, height off of engine frame to ground is kinda scary, but awesome to look at.
