    • Needs a big mirror that folds down so the exhaust and shaft can be seen when you park ...

      • Could you maybe shoot a layer of clear over it to keep it from rusting?

It is 6061 aluminum with aluminum Sonnax yokes. I am running that story next week.

              Here's the exhaust install -

              • How about a Lexan floor? The underside is looking MUCH better than the topside!

                  • #*@(*& Dang "Reply to Thread" button got me.

and started doing some math as it seemed I would be doing four arms worth of work with my standard issue two arms.

Good job Brian, looks good. I had to cut mine twice to fit proper and the sharpie should be part of the required tools. My cuts weren't as straight as a band saw though, 4.5" makita cutting wheel FTW!
                    Escaped on a technicality.

                    • I got it close with the hack saw, but that nice finish cut from the bandsaw was key!

                      • You made good work of that bandsaw cut! Work of art!

I strategically hid my exhaust welds

                        • If you look at the photo that shows the exhaust bolted to the header you can see some marker stripes to the right of the welded area. After I made my first pass, I took the pipe into my father in law's basement and in a dark room, I shined a flashlight into it while blocking the other end. Anywhere that light peeked out, we marked with a stripe and I ran over it again to plug the holes.

                              • It was good exercise.

Scott, I have a Sawzall. I just like to make uneven cuts slowly and painfully rather than quickly.
