The CARJUNKIE super secret-squirrel test and tune track. It would be a good place for the annual get together and party/reunion/meetingplace that I know Chad and David are looking for. ;D

I am always interested when I see a drag strip for sale. Normally it's one of a couple of reasons:

1.) The place is bleeding money and being managed into the ground.
2.) Something bad enough happened at the facility that current ownership wants the hell out
3.) There's a legal battle of some sort going on.

This one hits the jackpot on two of three accounts!

The strip shut down in 2005 after the sale of the place fell apart and turned into a nightmare legal battle between the guy who sold the place and the dude who bought it. Read the gory details here:

Either before that whole thing started or just afterwards, two people were shot to death at the track over a 50 dollar bet

There is also some kind of land dispute regarding the shut down area and who owns it. Like I said, drag strips for sale ALWAYS have juicy stories behind them!

If I were buying, it would be a nice private place to screw around with. Greg Anderson bought an 1/8 mile strip in the Carolinas for he and Jason Line to test their stuff on.

CJTV Dragstrip does have a nice ring to it!
