Chad's family is OK. The mess passed about 3/4 of a mile from Daphne's parents house.
That which you manifest is before you.

Yep BBR lives 300 miles or so from DFW. We had some rain and a gob of pea sized hail, but nothing like they had down state.

Hope every made it through ok.

Amarillo gets snow... Arlington gets tornadoes... Houston gets a damn hurricane that parks in the bay and floods, blows, and debris everything to pieces. Clearly I'm still upset about Ike.

My cousin in Plano had to evacuate at work, but all is OK, still waiting to hear about my Great Uncle in Granbury - but I think that was south far enough to be OK.

Hey if your going to live somewhere that you know has terrible weather and bad things can happen, I really can't see where you can get mad when it happens, I mean it's not like you weren't warned before hand......... I mean I just don't get the thinking, people are like, "ya, they call this Tornado Alley, I think I'll build a house here and raise a family" and then they seem surprised when a Tornado comes through and destroys everything..............

All I know is Phoenix is one of the safest places to live in the country when it comes to natural disasters..........

Amarillo gets snow, tornadoes, hail, 60+mph wind gusts, sub-zero to over 100 degree temperatures, but sadly, very little rain.

For SBG: Texas is big. Really big. The Panhandle area where I live is a little bigger than the state of West Virginia.
