    1961 bubble field find

This is a 61 bubble top that has been sitting in this field for 34 years. The interior is shot but the body is very solid and still wears it original paint. The car was sitting up on blocks so put some wheels on it and got it to roll then loaded it on the rollback. My plans are to fix the small rust areas then buff the remainder of the paint out,bag it,some ls power and 18 and 20 inch wheels and have it ready for power tour 2013.Oh and the best part is the guy gave me the car to just get it off his property.

Sweet. Way to save one. Do you know what kind of power it had originally?

It makes me happy to see a car like that getting saved. Good luck on the rust being as light as you believe it is.

I agree, I think it looks pretty good with the wheels that are on there but I'm so old school I'd have to go Super Tricks. I have a set, just nothing to put them on!
