I'm usually old school as all my old cars and trucks have 15 inch cragers or americans on them.I thought I would try some big wheels on the 61.I may not go 20's on rear may go 17's up front and 18's in the rear haven't decieded yet.I'm gonna clean the car out tomorrow hope there's no snakes in it.

17-18 combo would look great on it, 20s in the rear on those make the 18s on the front look like 15s

The more I look at pics of these car's I'm starting to lean towards the 17-18 combo.I will probably get started on this thing in a week or so and will start a build thread.

We are a twisted bunch, and most of us would kill someone to have a truck like that. If the rust is really that light, the only things I would do to it are interior, some discs up front, and of course LS power. No reason not to swap one in there.

The reason I have the rollback is me and my father own a big truck salvage yard. The rollback is over kill for a car but better than hiring some one to tow it home.I was thinking the same thing about the mods, new interior, discs all the way around, all new bushings and weather strip.I am gonna have to buy a ls motor and 4l60 combo from a junk yard.I have a ton of small block motors and parts but think an ls motor would be cool what do y'all think.

Last w motor I had was probably 4 years ago.It was a 348 in an old tilt cab.I sold the truck to a farmer and he's still using it.

That think screams for a W motor, Hondurous maroon paint, and some American mags! Maybe even one of the new Merlin W blocks!

Awesome find. I had a 62 I pulled out of the weeds behind a house. At the time I was neck deep in my restoring my truck and sold it to a truck driver who lived in Louisianna. The guys who picked it up said that the guy who bought it collected them in a field to watch them rust- he never fixed any of them up...
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

that means spidey is jealous.... nice save, I've always had a hankering for a bubble top - may never happen, but still love the lines of those things.
