When I saw the title, I was expecting to see one of the machines I had designed. Whew!

That was awesome. Those guys must have a thousand hours in that! Very cool!
Why think when you can be doing something fruitful?

I read rube goldberg don't know what it is, choose to forget mental phenomonas anyway.

I wonder how dieselgeek can call carburetor "rube goldberg"..
seems a paradox of his little world thrown at my one air mixture screw..

        beyond funny.

I built one in college with my engineering fraternity and took it to purdue, we were a young chapter and that was the first time we'd made it to the competition - we got our butts handed to us by a Hofstra out of NY - but we had a great time regardless. These guys have surely outdone themselves. Hopefully they also passed their classes while working on this project. I think they'll have no problem getting an internship with this on the resume!
There's always something new to learn.

At least now you get the joke. Didn't mean to offend, but sometimes all the monkey motion in a carbureted engine setup reminds me of these machines. Lotsa stuff moving around unnecessarily! :-)
