Jeff I give it 13 more seconds before someone who has NEVER attended Drag Week will come up with a cute smartass reply.

If you didn't think Drag Week sucked, then why would you list it as your NUMBER ONE worst automotive event?

        1. HOT ROD MAGAZINE DRAG WEEK — only 200 piddly slots for nearly 1 million readers. Horrible registration process. No real side-by-side racing for most of the event — just a big time trial. No penalty for horrible reaction times. Several stupid equipment rules that I disagree with but cannot comment on because I’m not one of the "insiders" or a personal pal of DF. New for 2012 — ripping off the spectators with a gate fee. "Insiders" are becoming too insular and elitist ("it’s a family") . . . .

I'd suggest sticking to something you're good at, problem is the only thing I know you're good at is being a drama queen on internet forums

I got it from the post where you were telling everyone that timing lights do not work with MSD boxes. Even though all of us have MSD boxes that work with any timing light. You talked about using one in 1971...

The only thing I think about your '71 Camaro is "that poor rotting sumbitch is never again going to see the street or strip unless it's on a rollback on its way to a crusher"

On the Net people think they are as equal in real life as they are on the net. That why you will never find a lot of them at one of these events, where it will show what fools they are in real life.

From this, and the comment "when I used to drive it" I presumed it had to be some time back in the 1970s. I've known you for a decade, been told many times how you're an awesome engine builder, racer, tuner, all-around automotive expert, but never heard or saw anything about you actually having a running project car... I stand corrected, you probably did have a running 1971 camaro in 1981. Rock on, dude.

                        :-)

So its been reported that the new HRM says they are going to open up more spots for DW. I don't know as my copy usually arrives a week or so after everyone else gets their's.

                            No excuses now.
