    why isn't that more often.
    i found home casting for parts, and being just as intricate.

    where is blocks and cranks.

    ..and what is that opera song at 2:48 to 4:55?

            It has to be very satisfying to screw something together that will probably be around long after your gone. Of course the same probably goes for the guys who built our cars back in the 60's and 70's, I wonder if they would be surprised that they're still on the road 40+ years later.
            Just groovin' to my own tune.

              it is inspiring indeed.

              castings, it is the only flunk for a long time. I hate throwing out stuff. Drive it to useless, no rebuild.

              I met an opinion that claimed the real v8 stopped at a 283. I understood.

              ..I am baffled at why the world thinks shared journals and counterbalancers are meant to be balanced and powerful.

              I just watched a vid where a cummins is being worked to take 3800 rpm.

              yep. that is as far as the counterbalanced design goes...gas or diesel.


              The castings and math..alot of precision to hold insanity.

                Going back to the heyday of operas, most were written in Italian. Ferrari is all about tradition.

                I've never seen sand casting done before. Interesting.
