Quality Tells

I am scratching my way through a couple of buckets and several cans of old tools. There are sockets and assorted box/open wrenches. Mostly they are lumps of rust and crud. The exception seems to be that so far I have a half-dozen box/open wrenches and a few sockets from Thorsen. With the exception of a stain or two, those are immaculate. Some of the Craftsman aren't too bad. A couple of Proto wrenches are really in sweet condition. Most of the rest are just tiresome crap, but the occasional treasure makes it worth the work on a rainy day like this.
