    Shootin' Pool

    Joe.

The guy across and a little bit down the street from us is home. Home from drilling oil in Dakota. He'll go back, but he's home.

I know exactly what it's like to live out of a suitcase for a long time. Home.

He came over here and beat my eyeballs out on my own pool table, and then wanted to bet on it. Like....well heck yeah, I'll BET you can beat me at shooting pool.

It sure is good to come HOME from work every day. It sure is.

I loved to shoot pool. Then i went blind in one eye. It sure ####ed up my pool game and welding. I can't tell the difference between a line drawn on concrete and a step. Wish i had a pool table tho.

Naw, it's even better to just stay home every day! I'm loving retirement, and getting paid every day to work on my cars!

Retirement IS good! Hope y'all can look forward to it.

As far as traveling for work, I did a fair amount of it and liked it but I was pretty much always home for the weekends so that wasn't such a bad deal. Usually just in the Summer, too. But HOME is a great place to get, for sure.

I don't get camping for that reason. You spend lots of time and money making home special and comfortable so why do you want to go into the wilderness and be uncomfortable??!! No central A/C! This paragraph ought to raise lots of hoot & holler.

My dad got a new house when i was 14 and it came with a regulation pool table... i've been a real bad addict ever since. I had my own table for 20 yrs now, till i had to move to this new place a couple months ago... and there's no room here for a table... i put my table in craigslist for about 6 weeks but got zero calls. I had it listed as FREE to good home... no takers. I had to cut it into chunks with my sawzall and haul it to the dump. i am in serious withdrawal.... it was a brunswick in decent shape... the market for pool tables is tanked. i also used to travel for a living so - yeah - that good to be home feeling is what ya work for...!
