  • Freakin' insane crash photo sequence...

My buddy Denis shot this in 2009 and it has never been seen anywhere...before today!

Impressive photos..every single photo there,is a winner in itself.

I cant help wonder,if more turning radius in the front suspension could help in situations like this..if at an early stage, you could "drift" out the spinning wheels..

Valid question Arlid, although I think the minimal grip afforded by the small front tires and the complete lack of lateral sidewall strength in a drag slick would negate it.

While they are aerodynamic travelling straight, once these things get sideways and get air under them, you are pretty much screwdago'd. Hold on, wait for it to stop, and then bail the hell out!

Truly incredible! Bet the driver felt that for a week (or more).

The owners wallet felt it a lot longer than that.

That's an amazing sequence of photos, and an even more amazing crash... does anyone know who built the chassis? they should be commended!

dang.... of course, that guy will always have the top story - because when someone says "this thread is worthless without pics" he'll have those to whip out.

Amazingly, that very car was repaired and is still racing today.

SBG...you are right. There's NO topper for that one!
