Maybe this goes in the "Check This Out" section in the ads, but here goes -
I apologize for not having pics, but I found a '55 DeSoto that's available in a little town just West of Leland, NC. It's a Fire Dome Hemi, and the car is almost complete. It's a 4 door sedan, and some of the side trim is missing, with some pieces (maybe all) inside the car. It has the little shift lever to the right of the steering wheel - cast iron 727, I think. The current owner has had it for 12 years or so, and has decided he's not going to get around to it. It's rough but not too rusty. Restore or maybe for the engine?
He's asking $3000 - no idea of what he'd take.
