    Iowa BS'ers

    It looks like a trip to Des Moines (actually Urbandale) is in the cards for sometime this summer.

    I probably won't get to pick which week, but I can pick which day of the week and I'm always up for some motorized entertainment.

    I'm partial to competition, but a good cruise works also.

    What's out there?

      Same place I'll be July 13-16,,,

      Iowa State Fair grounds has a track..
      They have roundy rounds. Look at their website

          There's the World of Outlaws museum or whatever it's called in Newton. I live about 100 miles to the west of Des Moines, I am headed there this weekend to hang with Chad at the Goodguys show on Sunday, after I am done tuning a car in Kansas City on Saturday.

              Going thru Omaha, to Council Bluffs, my wife went there while she was little, then got mainstreamed.. Her dad and mom went there.. We are visiting the museum there.. Then to DM to see her family.. She is from Urbandale..We have to be in DM the 13&14.

              2 lousy weekends off!

                      wednesday nights in Des Moines, at the fairgrounds, they have a combined bike night/car night. usually there are a couple hundred bikes, and about half as many cars.
                      i think during the week, any other option might be some sort of dirt track/hobby stock type deal... there is Knoxville, if you are into sprint cars...
                      I am about 80 miles west, kinda right in the middle between Omaha and DSM

                                  I REALLY want to do the Speedway Museum - but not this trip. We only have 2 days to get from St. Paul to Denver (July 18 & 19) so we'll be burnin' Diesel. We will stay over in York, NE - anyone on here in York?
