      nice.
I have always wondered what the rails would do in a hot sunny place.

      I owned a black one, 1984.
was more like a mad max cross between a jacked up truck with knobby drag tires...and the wheel base stretched after more than a year of 80 mph, 40 miles a day..sometimes twice a day...the other 40 miles was maine back roads rain ice snow or hurricane.

I outran the steel in other words. Stay safe..that is a 3600 pounder, maybe less.

I thought the turbo motor was destined for the Camaro?

Nope the Camaro already has a 600+hp 406 with an NOS Big Shot system... The twin turbo motor was for a car I still needed to buy, which happened today... So F'n Happy!!!!!!

And Brian, yap the wheels must go!!!!!, I'll replace them with something in the 18" variety......

Thanks Keith, if you look hard you can see that it is a two tone paint job, it's a dark burgundy on the hood, roof and trunk, it's more visible in the sunlight.....

Yes, this is the car I'm going to make my DW/Texas mile car into, the goal is 8.50's in the quarter and 225mph in the mile.......

As for when it will be done, if I was made of money I might say 2013, but realistically I'm shooting for about 5 years for me, Moser Fab 9's and TCI 6 Speed Automatics aren't cheap........ Those will most likely be yearly purchases for me...... I'm working on the motor now, should be dropping it off with my friend Rick the end of next month, in the mean time I'll start on the suspension and getting that all squared away......
