S-10 V-6 2.8 bellhousing question

I think it was a BOP style if it was the Pontiac 4..
Only the v-6 was tilted.. Easy to tell when you look at the bell housing..it will be clocked off.

It definitely had the same bolt pattern as the 2.8, not the BOP. I know what the tilted thing looks like, I think they only used it on the T5 transmissions. But I could be wrong.

I had a 78 Monza, with the Pontiac 4 and Saginaw 4 speed.. Wanted to go to 5, but it all was different.
Never had the bell housing off, but from my untrained eye, looked to be BOP...
I have a set-up to bolt the t-5 to a v-6 Buick.. It sits upright..
Aparantly there are several combos out there..
I was in no way saying you didn't know...

The 1978 four cylinder would have the early large bellhousing, the 82 was the small bellhousing. I think they started with the small bellhousing when they started making the Citation FWD in 1980.
