Never had the bell housing off, but from my untrained eye, looked to be BOP...
I have a set-up to bolt the t-5 to a v-6 Buick.. It sits upright..
Aparantly there are several combos out there..
I was in no way saying you didn't know...

The 1978 four cylinder would have the early large bellhousing, the 82 was the small bellhousing. I think they started with the small bellhousing when they started making the Citation FWD in 1980.My fabulous web page
