I am startled to find women singing effeminate today. You tube is great. Tattoos and kickass are for... not me. My mom used to sing, if she stayed calm to target children she'd be famous. Blue eyes took everybody in.

                  nice tune.
slightly raspy voice, and sweet.. not common.

I called a crazy doctor crazy. The lyrics got me

                  crazy doctor crazy
                  chem warfare
                  hero hazy

                  VA lazy...
                  crazy doctor crazy.

Here's one you never heard of - Michelle Garibay Carey. She's the daufghter of Chicano Blues inventor Randy Garibay and that apple didn't fall far from the tree. I don't know if she has anything on Youtube but she might. She's in San Antonio and was (maybe still is) with a band called "Planet Soul", one of at least 2 bands with that name. She sang an amazing version of "At Last" on her Dad's last album before he died of cancer a number of years back. It's interesting as she looks like a chubby German housewife (she seems to have gotten mostly her German Mom's genes) and then she opens her mouth and THAT comes out. She's amazing.

                        • Another awesome young gal to add to the mix, Romi (pronounced Rah-me) Mayes.

Jason Nowicki on the Telecaster is amazing, as well.

It's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

Should take you to "It Ain't Gonna Happen" by Genya Raven and Ten Wheel Drive. Amazing group from the late 60's. As you might guess, a 10 piece band and an amazing female singer. Genya an one time was dating Detroit DJ Arthur Penthallow so we got quite a bit of the band on Detroit underground radio back then. I don't know how big they were nationally but pretty much anyone under 50 has never heard of them.
