  • Went for a drive ...

    .... up in the high country. Found these about 30 min from the house. I tried to get a pic of the male, but I think the flowmasters scared him.

        Yup ..... they are thick this year for some reason. Only thing I can come up with is that they have migrated this way since both north and south of us is where the big fires where.

                We were there for about 45 min .... as more people pulled over to watch, they started on the move again. Colorado 73 (the highway thru that area) surprisingly doesn't have a lot of accidents with wild life. All of the locals know they are everywhere and drive accordingly. CDOT has actually put up streetlights in some of the canyons to help as well.
