By 82, the last of the 3rd gen Corvettes, I think they had them back up to ~200 hp, not quite as bad as the 1975 tire shredders with 165 hp. ;D

Plasticky front and rear bumpers, L-82 in all it's fury..I like the early C3, not the later. All I can think when I see the (?) 74-up Vette is "Corvette Summer". Now, the T/A was about as powerful, but at least had the "Knight Rider" image going for it...Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
