'65 was a bit of an oddball year. Interesting option selection. I bet that car would easily get the money if it was an '66 or '67.

You're just being polite Monk - those cars were out and out ugly.

I'm a Ford guy and I still say "oh hell no" Good luck buddy - any bets on if we'll see this listed again at a less crack smoking price?

I don't think he'd get that money even if it wasn't the fugly body style.

Not sure I can justify it but I always liked the '64s better. But super rare for sure. I agree that that's a ton of $$ for that.

What a shock, in my back yard. If someone needs me to check it out before you by it , let me know.

Isn't a 2 door hardtop the same as a Sport Coupe? Neither had pillars, correct?

The world would be empty of 63-64 Galaxies..and even then i wouldnt buy a 65 Fairlane..that said...a wealthy Ford muscle car collector, couldnt live without it.

Blazer - that would have to be wealthy and without taste - unless he was trying to complete a "one of every year" collection.

I'd forgotten how ugly they were in that year. WTF were they thinking.

I liked 'em - they had character.
If I was still a hardcore Ford guy I'd want it real bad.
